So, first of all, my niece. She was bitten by a dog IN THE FACE. Spent the evening in the emergency room, got 9 stitches. By the time I got there, she was waiting to go in for surgery and she wasn't even crying. Her younger sister was bawling her eyes out.
Rita is 10, by the way. And a Fricken' BAWS. She's so awesome.
Also, I brought her my Tidus plushie (He was the first thing I found, and she likes him, and I figured she could use a buddy in the ER) and not only did she not get blood on him, she was offended that no one in the ER knew who he was. Did I mention she's 10? And her favorite music is David Bowie and Queen.
Anyway, she's unfortunately still grounded, which means I've been spending hours at her house, smelly-smokey-step-dad and all. The headaches have been substantial.
Also unfortunately, it's finals crunch. I have an oral presentation in Spanish Wednesday, a paper on PTSD in the military Thursday, a Spanish exam which is ALSO on Wednesday, and have to prepare for three finals and an art presentation. I'm discovering new levels of stress.
And last order of business is SQUALL

Baron Squall Pascal Von Fudgenhart, to be precise.
It doesn't show well in the picture, but he has a white slash between his eyes, hence the name.
He's officially my cat as of yesterday. Ironically, I DIDN'T want to name him Squall. I wanted to name him Leon, so if he was good, it could be because he was named after Squall, and if he was bad, he was named after a lion. The nieces loved the name Squall and insisted on it, and he was still a stray so I went with it. He's a real sweetheart, and.... IDK, it's hard to explain, but since Muffin died I haven't really had a cat. I wuvs him.
So anyway, one of the conditions of keeping him is he needs to be nuetered. I can't take commissions just yet, but if you're interested, let me know and we'll work something out. I'm thinking $10, with background, ponies or humans, up to two characters. Let's not make it complicated. It's for a good cause <3
