'Waiting' For You...

I think I actually enjoyed working on the BG more than the picture, If for no other reason than the foreground was driving me crazy o__o.

Actually, it was all nostalgic and stuff. I listened to the soundtrack and watched the opening a bunch of times to try to get it to look like the flower-field. I want to play FFVIII now o_o I wish I could find all the disks.

Anyway, it's Rinoa. A Nobody version, kinda. She should be blonde or some junk, but it didn't seem right, so she's just got lighter hair and more highlights. The back of it is supposed to look all fwooshy and soft, reminiscent of angel wings ('cause it's Rinoa, durr). It didn’t turn out like I wanted. Rinoa took free time for almost a week, more than all of my patience, and severely lagged the comp with her million layers (5 or so for the lineart alone) The background looks unfinished, I might work on it more later.

So, upon re-entering Hollow Bastion, Leon is greeted by Rinoa’s Nameless, who has been waiting in the garden where he promised to meet her all ever since it fell to the heartless and Rinoa was presumably killed. (like, 9 years ago) She’s satisfied with her end, and only happy to be able to see him again and fulfill her end of the promise. Squall, not so much.

My haaaand huuuuuurts. Please don’t critique her, I spent a lot of time on her, and I’m kinda down about the whole thing.
