Show You My True Power

The whole family has been going through a Sonic renaissance lately. I actually passed Sonic 2, which I’ve owned in some form or another since second grade, when it was the game released with the system, without passing. Actually, until this year, I could never get through Metropolis Robotnik. He became part of my origin story, he actually appears on one of my self-portraits from Drawing 1. But I digress.

Ponies and Hedgehogs. Right now I can’t seem to draw anything as their proper species. Ponies as humans, humans as ponies, hedgehogs as ponies…. I guess the logical continuation would be ponies as hedgehogs. This is supposed to be on the Ark, and originally they were playing Tug ‘O War with a ring, but it made their faces waaaaay too close together, and more pressingly I couldn’t tell how to draw them biting on it. I actually like how Sonic turned out, as well as the background. This is my fourth pony pic, and my second one with shading, so please be nice if you have criticism.
